They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 82-56 walloping at the hands of Lincoln Park Performing Arts. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Central Valley won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by North Catholic 73-46. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Central Valley in their matchups with North Catholic: they've now lost five in a row.
Hopewell has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
Hopewell was taken down by Central Valley 53-25 when the teams last played back in January. Can Hopewell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
