Basketball Recap: Farmington Piles Up the Points Against University

Farmington came into Thursday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the University Eagles 44-16. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Falcons have posted since December 13, 2024.

Farmington's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-9. As for University, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will head out to take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for University, they are taking a road trip to square off against Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
