In what's become a running theme this season, Cotopaxi gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They really took it to Custer County for the full four quarters, racking up a 39-5 victory on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cotopaxi.
It was another big night for Eden Merrill, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Merrill is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Hayden Eggleston, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, South Park was the victim of a rough 45-19 loss at the hands of Del Norte on Saturday. South Park has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cotopaxi is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for South Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
