Foothill lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Livermore, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's   contest. The Falcons were the clear victors by  a  16-6 margin over the Cowboys on Tuesday. Considering the Falcons have won six matches by more than seven  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Sophia Burdick and  Ellie Novitske did most of the damage at the plate:  Burdick  went a perfect 5-for-5 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and one  stolen base, while  Novitske  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  runs gave  Burdick a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaycie Burdick, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs and two  RBI.
 Foothill  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .658. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Livermore only posted  an  OBP of  .481.
Foothill's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-5-1. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Livermore,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-8.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foothill is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Granada  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Livermore will  square off against  rival Monte Vista  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
