The Bevier Wildcats lost against the Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Bevier was outmatched by Grundy County/Newtown-Harris at home and fell 49-11. Bevier was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-2.
Grundy County/Newtown-Harris found their leader in underclassman Kinsley Allnutt, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Allnutt is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Milazzo, who scored 7 points along with 6 assists.
Bevier now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Grundy County/Newtown-Harris, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
