Having just played yesterday, the Maryvale Prep Matador will head out on the road to face off against the NFL Yet Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Maryvale Prep will be strutting in after a win while NFL Yet Academy will be coming in after a loss.
On Wednesday, Maryvale Prep earned a 54-43 win over North Phoenix Preparatory Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Maryvale Prep.
NFL Yet Academy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Arizona Lutheran Academy 78-38. NFL Yet Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from EUDY LARA-CASTILLO, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of JULUIS RAMIREZ, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Maryvale Prep's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for NFL Yet Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.
