When it comes to explaining why Oceanside lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trey Nastazio. Despite the final result, he picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Valley Center has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Oceanside, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
Valley Center will head out on the road to face off against Imperial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Imperial will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Oceanside will take on Steele Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Steele Canyon is ranked 260th, while Oceanside is ranked 249th).
