When it comes to explaining why Sweetwater lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Chris Alford. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with 9 rebounds. The match was Alford's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Dacus, who scored 10 points.
Sweetwater's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Loudon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
Sweetwater will look to defend their home court on Friday against McMinn County at 6:00 p.m. McMinn County is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Loudon, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
