Lincoln County has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Whitefish Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Lincoln County has not done well against Libby recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Lincoln County strolled past Libby with points to spare, taking the game 55-39. Given Lincoln County's advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Libby is ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Braden Casazza, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and five blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lincoln County's points. Parker Bates was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Whitefish didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Custer County on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 54-50 victory.
