Winston County entered their tilt with Meek on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 47-40 victory over the Meek Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-37 two weeks ago.

It was another big night for Lynleigh Cobb, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine boards. Ellie Veal was another key player, putting up seven points.

Winston County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Winston County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Meek, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
