The Falcon Falcons waltzed into their game Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. Everything went their way against Palmer Ridge as Falcon made off with a 76-54 victory. Falcon might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Falcon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eric Graham out in front who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The match was Graham's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Cox, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Palmer Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Bolko, who scored eight points. Logan Boyer was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Falcon's win was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Palmer Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falcon will take on Cheyenne Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cheyenne Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Palmer Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against The Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. Allowing an average of 64 points per game, The Classical Academy has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this matchup.
