There's no place like home for The Skyview Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Shelley by a score of 21-14 on Friday. The win was just what Skyview needed coming off of a 36-7 loss in their prior contest.
Skyview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cache Beus, who threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns. Mason Krahn was another key contributor, picking up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Skyview's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Nampa and 3-6 Vallivue (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35.8% over those games). As for Shelley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Skyview will take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Shelley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
