Frederick not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Mountain View Mountain Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Frederick never let Mountain View on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Ava Reed paced Frederick's offense, picking up 11 kills. Reed got some help from Ellary Faulkner and her 14 assists. Isabelle Ramer controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Frederick's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frederick will face off against Riverdale Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will take on Wellington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
