Mayville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Halsne, who scored seven points. Halsne continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Deckerville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Mayville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

As for Mayville, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
