After losing to the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions the last time they met, the Northview Chiefs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Northview came out on top against L.E.A.D. Academy by a score of 49-38 on Monday. That 49-38 margin sets a new team best for Northview this season.
Northview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Diamond out in front who scored 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Diamond has scored at least 25% of Northview's points. JACOB SPENCE was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Northview's win ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
