Butte Central Catholic's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by the Hardin Bulldogs 17-16. The Maroons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Butte Central Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Joshua Sutton.

When it comes to explaining why Hardin lost, don't look at Darrell Lefthand. Despite the final result, he rushed for 177 yards and one TD, and also threw for 158 yards and one touchdown. Tyran Joe also helped out with an impressive 99 receiving yards.

The win got Butte Central Catholic back to even at 1-1. As for Hardin, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
