Coastal Academy extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping their season record up to 13-4 in the process. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Foothills Christian Knights. This was a revenge game for the Stingrays: when they faced off against the Knights back in March, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.
Therese Frazer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cayla Contreras, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
