Genoa Central will challenge Harmony Grove on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Genoa Central, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Genoa Central came up short against Horatio last Friday, falling 17-27. Genoa Central got a solid performance out of senior Colby Cobb, who rushed for 53 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, Harmony Grove were fully in charge, breezing past Bismarck 61-19.
Harmony Grove's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Genoa Central's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Harmony Grove can add another positive mark to their record or if Genoa Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Harmony Grove's step.
