Shawnee Mission Christian had a senior duo take command as Jeydan Umberger dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds and Emily Kleczka scored five points along with 13 rebounds and three steals. Umberger is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Shawnee Mission Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Eagle Heights Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Shawnee Mission Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Blue Ridge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Blue Ridge Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
