Brayden Booher Turns in Season-Best Effort
Lakeview was led to victory by Brayden Booher, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Booher rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending two passes in addition to snagging three interceptions.
Lakeview's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. Booher and Lakeview will challenge Cambridge Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 118 Rushing Yards from Brett Kania
On Friday, Cambridge Springs got the W thanks in part to Brett Kania playing the best football he has all season. Kania's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Maplewood, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Kania. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Kania saw the Tigers), he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Nick Solderich's Big Game Leads Greenville over Saegertown
Greenville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Solderich. Solderich was unstoppable, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 155 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Greenville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Solderich and Greenville will square off against Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
