The Cedarcrest Red Wolves can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They claimed a resounding 56-15 win over Marysville Getchell on the road. The win was just what Cedarcrest needed coming off of a 78-33 defeat in their prior game.
Cedarcrest found their leader in underclassman Kiki Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Anderson hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Laine Mckenzie, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Cedarcrest's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Marysville Getchell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedarcrest's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sedro-Woolley at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Marysville Getchell, they will face off against Meadowdale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
