Clay County took down Trousdale County on Wednesday, a win that might not have happened without Nolan Adams's standout performance. Nobody could stop Adams as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 5.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Clay County is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-11 otherwise.
