The North Cross Raiders on the road again on Thursday and play against the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, North Cross was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Stuart Hall.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jesiah Hines, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Mack, who scored 16 points.
Fork Union Military Academy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-44 loss at the hands of St. Christopher's. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fork Union Military Academy in their matchups with St. Christopher's: they've now lost seven in a row.
North Cross has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Fork Union Military Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
North Cross strolled past Fork Union Military Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 48-32. Will North Cross repeat their success, or does Fork Union Military Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
