The Roseville Tigers were the 68-65 winner over the Antelope Titans when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Roseville's rough 75-49 loss to Antelope on Wednesday might stick with them for a while.
Despite the loss, Roseville saw an underclassman step up: Oreste Yong scored nine points along with six rebounds. Santiago Barbonier was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Aj Cook went supernova for Antelope, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cook has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malichai Brown, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Roseville's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Antelope, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-13.
Roseville will head out on the road to take on Woodcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Roseville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Wednesday. As for Antelope, they will be playing at home against Inderkum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Inderkum has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,225 points over their last 14 contests.
