Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Reservoir 'Gators walked away with it. They took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 49-16 victory over Severna Park. Reservoir might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 30 points or more this season.
Reservoir had a senior duo take command as Adrian Alvarado rushed for 223 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry and Jordan Tate rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
The victory (which was Reservoir's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points per game. As for Severna Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Reservoir will be playing in front of their home fans against Leonardtown at 6:00 p.m. on November 10th. Leonardtown is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Severna Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
