It was a good run, but the Trinity Prep Saints unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Celebration, falling 62-26.
Celebration was led to victory by Valeria Martinez and Evelyn Juden . Martinez dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals, while Juden dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. The match was Martinez's third in a row with at least ten points. Isabella Espinosa was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds.
Trinity Prep's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. As for Celebration, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
Trinity Prep will stay at home for another game and welcome Mater Brighton Lakes Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Celebration will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Trinity Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
