Charles Henderson is 9-1 against Carroll since November of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Charles Henderson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 14 contests -- so hopefully Carroll likes a good challenge.
Charles Henderson can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against Highland Home as Charles Henderson made off with a 67-41 win.
Meanwhile, Carroll came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over Greenville. Given Carroll's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Greenville is ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Carroll got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Culver out in front who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of N'jia Gosha, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Charles Henderson pushed their record up to 20-10 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Carroll, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.
