The biggest upset of the week belonged to Northwestern, who took down 69th ranked Cass, 14-8.
Peru scaled the state rankings by moving to 184 from 224 this week, the biggest jump in Mid-Indiana. The Tigers were able to make move up by beating Eastern 63-35.
Hamilton Heights's dynamic duo of Monte Reed and Grant Weatherford proved tough for Maconaquah to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Reed threw for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns and Weatherford had 109 yards receiving. Jesse Brown helped Hamilton Heights' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 58 yards.
The Huskies' dynamic duo of Reed and Weatherford proved to be unstoppable against the Braves, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He went 10-15 with 0 interceptions.
Weatherford was the best receiver in the league this week as Hamilton Heights bested Maconaquah.
Cody Hicks was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 132 yards on 30 carries as Mark Hartman's team defeated Mark Hartman's team. Josh Fewell also contributed to the rushing game with 16 yards on the ground.
Reed put up the best numbers through the air as the Huskies beat the Braves.
Leading Mid-Indiana in both passing and receiving yards, Hamilton Heights' Reed and Weatherford have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-4 quarterback Reed has thrown for 535 yards this season, while Weatherford has 13 catches for 372 yards. Maconaquah's Hicks leads the league in rushing yards with 337.
The Tigers are in third place, while Western is in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Northwestern takes on the Panthers. John Hendryx's team has allowed 14 points this season, while Western has given up 11.
Nate Andrews' team took down Taylor 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
