The Ballston Spa Scotties will head out on the road to face off against the Shaker Bison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ballston Spa is looking to tack on another W to their 13-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
On Sunday, Ballston Spa had to suffer through a rough 77-37 loss at the hands of Green Tech. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ballston Spa has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Shaker put another one in the bag on Sunday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 47-42 victory over Lansingburgh. Given Shaker's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Lansingburgh is ranked 151st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ballston Spa's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Shaker, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
Ballston Spa beat Shaker 71-61 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ballston Spa since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
