Volleyball Recap: Madison County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Madison County waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Hall Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Madison County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16.

Kylee Treadway went supernova, getting nine aces and seven assists. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high. Cora Beth Strickland also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Madison County's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for East Hall, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Madison County will welcome McDonough at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Hall, they will challenge Franklin County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
