Shelton led D2 District 6 (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 74 points on Wilcox-Hildreth. Clayton Stoppkotte threw for 14 yards and one touchdown and ran for 39 yards in the win.
Kenesaw's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Schnitzler threw for 157 and three touchdowns and Preston Schnitzler had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Schnitzler chipped in 115 yards. Colton Blankenship helped Kenesaw's passing attack out by catching two balls for 41 yards.
Michael Duffy made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Blue Devils defeated Axtell. The junior racked up two sacks.
On the ground, the Bulldogs' Luke Glenn has rushed for 1288 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jacob Jelden. The Axtell star has 19 catches for 472 yards.
Amherst fell 20-18 to Lawrence-Nelson in the closest game of the week.
