After losing to Garretson the last time they met, Beresford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beresford Watchdogs were the clear victor by a 51-26 margin over the Garretson Blue Dragons on Tuesday. The Watchdogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Beresford and bumps their season record up to 10-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points over those games. As for Garretson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which is still a better percentage than their 4-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beresford will venture away from home to square off against Elk Point-Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garretson, they will head out to take on Elkton/Lake Benton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Garretson is facing Elkton/Lake Benton at the right time seeing as Elkton/Lake Benton is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
