Caddo is 8-2 against the Bulldogs since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Caddo Bruins will look to defend their home court against the Calera Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Caddo has nine straight wins, the Bulldogs have four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Caddo stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Tishomingo on the road to the tune of 79-45. Given Caddo's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Indians are ranked 316th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Calera was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 53-47 to the Tigers.
Caddo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Calera, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
Caddo was able to grind out a solid win over the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 57-44. Does Caddo have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
