Football Recap: Dinuba Skates Past Selma with Ease

Dinuba barely beat Selma the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Emperors claimed a resounding 45-10 win over the Bears. The Emperors haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

TONY IBARRA was his usual excellent self, throwing for 215 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes, while also rushing for 81 yards and one TD. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Dinuba's leading receiver LORENZO WILLIAMS was IBARRA's top target yet again, picking up 122 receiving yards and one score.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Dinuba's defense and their six sacks. Selma's QB won't forget ISAAC GODINEZ anytime soon given he sacked him twice. GODINEZ is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season.

The win got Dinuba back to even at 2-2. As for Selma, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Dinuba will head out on the road to square off against Washington Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Selma, they will be playing at home against Reedley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
