The Canterbury School Saints will challenge the Kingswood Oxford Wyverns at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Canterbury School put up the most points they have all season on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-29 win over Austin Prep. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.
Drew Fitzgerald went supernova, throwing for 250 yards and five TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (162.4). Wells Cunningham was Fitzgerald's top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and three scores.

Canterbury School's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 8.5 times. The heavy lifting was done by Malachi Gibson and Jayden Williams, who racked up all 8.5 sacks between them. Thanks to that big game, Gibson is now up to 11 sacks on the season.
Meanwhile, Kingswood Oxford never let their opponents score on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Worcester Academy 32-0. The Wyverns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 21 points or more this season.
Canterbury School better keep an eye on Justin Morle. He was instrumental in Kingswood Oxford's win, rushing for 170 yards and four touchdowns. Morle also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making four total tackles.
Canterbury School's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Kingswood Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground. Canterbury School has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 189.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Kingswood Oxford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 192.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Canterbury School came up short against Kingswood Oxford in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 34-28. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
