The biggest upset of the week belonged to Roland, who defeated 120th ranked Eufaula, 30-22. Manuel Bunch threw for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 10 yards in the win.
Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A District 8 this week, Spiro beat Valliant 40-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Bulldogs.
The Rangers' dynamic duo of Bunch and Rashawn Eubanks proved to be unstoppable against the Ironheads, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Madison Bunch helped Roland's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 79 yards.
He was 14-25 with 1 interception.
Stigler's Seth Sandlin needs only 71 yards against the Bulldogs next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 148 carries Sandlin has put up 929 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Roland takes on Spiro. Jeff Streun's team is in fourth place, while the Bulldogs are in first place.
The Panthers took down Heavener 61-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dylan Bryant threw for 62 yards and caught 1 pass for 50 yards during the win.
