After a string of five wins, Wayne Valley's good fortune finally ran out. They took a hard 64-47 fall against Ramapo. Wayne Valley has struggled against Ramapo recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Loss or not, Wayne Valley got some senior leadership from Anthony Apicella and Omar Ali. Apicella scored 22 points along with six rebounds, while Ali. scored 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Dumont was able to grind out a solid victory over Cliffside Park on Tuesday, taking the game 60-52.
Wayne Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Dumont, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
