Elkhart's 20-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Plymouth by a score of 66-58. That eight points margin sets a new team best for Elkhart this season.
Even though Jimtown has not done well against South Bend Washington recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Jimtown walked away with a 53-42 victory over South Bend Washington. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Jimtown.
Dylan Fey was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bishop Williams, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Elkhart's win ended a 13-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-14. As for Jimtown, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Everything went Elkhart's way against Jimtown when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as Elkhart made off with a 54-32 win. Will Elkhart repeat their success, or does Jimtown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
