Valley will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Natomas at 7:00 p.m. Natomas took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Valley, who comes in off a win.
Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They didn't even let Cordova onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Two seems to be a good number for Valley as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jose Aguirre and
Octavio Mendoza, who scored.
Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Natomas were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They suffered a rough 3-0 loss at the hands of Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Natomas has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Valley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-2 record this season. As for Natomas, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2.
Everything went Valley's way against Natomas in their previous matchup on Friday as Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Valley repeat their success, or does Natomas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
