They came out on top in a nail-biter against LaVille and snuck past 42-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win North Judson-San Pierre has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Judson-San Pierre to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cailyn Tunis, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Gracie Minix, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brooke Edison, who scored 11 points along with nine steals and six rebounds. Edison is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Weil, who scored nine points along with two steals.
North Judson-San Pierre's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for LaVille, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
North Judson-San Pierre will head out on the road to take on Benton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Benton Central will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. LaVille will take on Culver Community at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
