The Campus International Trailblazers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 53-12 loss at the hands of Rhodes. Campus International lost against Rhodes in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 33-25 score last time.
Rhodes' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniya King, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Nikyia Davis was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Campus International bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rhodes, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Campus International will be home for the holidays to greet Garrett Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garrett Morgan will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Rhodes, they will head out on the road to face off against Max S. Hayes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
