Catholic Central entered their tilt with Oak Glen on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 55-41 win over the Oak Glen Golden Bears. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 184th in Ohio, while the Golden Bears are ranked 485th in West Virginia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oak Glen's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Evans, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Will Weekley, who had eight points.

Catholic Central's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Oak Glen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
