Telluride is 0-10 against Mancos since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The pair will face off  at 11:00  p.m.  on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Given that  both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
 Telluride unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Saturday. The  contest between Telluride and Crested Butte wasn't particularly close, with Telluride falling  73-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 Despite their  loss, Telluride saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Townes Merritt, who  scored 16 points, was perhaps the best of all. Merritt is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 15 or more in the last three games he's  played.  Grayson Berry was another key contributor,  scoring 20 points.
 Meanwhile,  Mancos unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell  58-47 to Sanford. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Mancos has scored all season.
 Telluride's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 6-4. As for Mancos, their loss  ended a eight-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 5-2.
 Telluride ended up a good deal behind  Mancos in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023, losing  51-34. Will Telluride have more luck at home instead of on the road?  Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
