Oakland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonathan Chapple led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zaymani Mitchell, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Culver City's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Oakland, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Culver City will be home for the holidays to greet Silverado at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakland's road trip will continue as they head out to face San Gabriel Academy at 1:30 p.m. on December 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (San Gabriel Academy is ranked 251st, while Oakland is ranked 241st).
