Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evadale). Everything went their way against the West Orange-Stark Mustangs on Thursday as they made off with a 62-36 win. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.

Evadale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brett Buckner, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 19 points and five steals. Buckner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Clint Brewer was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Evadale smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Evadale's record now sits at 4-7. As for West Orange-Stark, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Evadale has already played their next matchup, a 52-40 loss against Huntington on the 11th. As for West Orange-Stark, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-42 victory against Coldspring-Oakhurst on the 11th.
