Iroquois and the Vikings are an even 3-3 against one another  since December of 2014, but  not for long. The Iroquois Raiders will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Valley Vikings at 5:45  p.m. Iroquois is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
 While Iroquois couldn't quite beat the Dragons on Friday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 45-point  loss they were dealt  on Tuesday. Iroquois fell just short of the Dragons by a score of  36-33.
 Despite the  loss, Iroquois saw an underclassman step up:  Maliyah Poindexter  scored 22 points along with eight  steals. That was a full 66.7% of Iroquois' points, marking the third time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Meanwhile, Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their third straight  defeat. They fell to Frankfort  53-49.
 Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
 Iroquois was taken down by the Vikings 64-14 when the teams last played  back in November of 2022. The  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Iroquois was down  41-10.
