The El Modena Vanguards won the last time they faced the El Dorado Golden Hawks, and things went their way on Friday too. El Modena simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat El Dorado 38-10 on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point El Modena had established a 25 point advantage.
Xzavior Guess was a one-man wrecking crew for El Modena as he threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. El Modena also got help from Deron Taylor who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.
El Modena's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for El Dorado, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
El Modena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. El Dorado also has no future games currently scheduled.
