Softball Recap: Civic Leadership Comes Up Short at Home Against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy

Civic Leadership unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix on Monday, falling 21-15. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2016.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Civic Leadership will take on East Windsor at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they will face off against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
