The Richfield Tigers had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 46-15 victory over Hagerman. 46 seems to be a good number for Richfield as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Shelby Jones, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Clancy Patterson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
Richfield's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Hagerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Richfield will be playing at home against Hagerman at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hagerman, they will head out on the road to face off against Twin Falls Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Twin Falls Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on January 4th.
