Wimberley Gets a Boost from Stoever in 59-28 Win
Starting off the list is Wimberley's Cody Stoever, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stoever rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes.
If the past is any indication, Stoever could be in store for another big game when he takes on Jarrell on Friday. When Stoever last faced the Cougars back in October of 2023, he threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 59 yards.
